RTL of Lapeer County promotes legislation that protects life at all stages.
We work to end abortion. We oppose human cloning and physician-assisted suicide.
We fight attempts to provide or increase funding for destructive embryonic stem-cell research.
We do this because we believe that every human being is priceless, whether a baby in the womb,
an elderly hospice patient or a person with disabilities.

We embrace God's plan for all mankind and hope to
re-establish a "culture of life."

There are many ways to help!

You can...
come to a meeting, donate to the RTL of Lapeer or to the Pregnancy Center of Lapeer. Write letters or e-mail your representatives at the federal, state and local levels. Write editorials for newspapers or stand with us at the March on Washington. Contact us to find out how you can pray outside an abortion clinic or stand in silent witness in a sidewalk display or Life Chain.
Become a pro-life liaison from your church, encouraging your church to speak and teach on abortion. Place pro-life brochures in your church. Keep brochures with pictures in your purse, car, home, etc. Donate pro-life books to schools and public libraries. Urge doctors and other professionals to put pro-life literature in waiting rooms. Wear pro-life jewelry or clothing. Place pro-life bumper stickers on your car.
Educate yourself about this issue so that you can educate others.
Speak to your family, friends and neighbors -- defend the unborn since they cannot speak for themselves!
